| Overview |
The Early College Academy is an open access, student-focused high school offering rigorous programs that lead students toward the successful completion of post-secondary credit. The Early College Academy challenges students to perform at high academic levels and facilitates simultaneous attainment of college credit in a dynamic high-tech career pathway. Students complete their core high school coursework in the morning and then either access courses at the Career Enrichment Center or begin college coursework . While it is possible to begin college as soon as the sophomore year, students are guided towards courses that are attainable and appropriate. Through careful guidance and rigorous academic habit, students in the ECA obtain a strong college preparatory education and receive college credit that can be applied to an associate or university degree. |
| Mission and Vision Statements |
Preparing for the future, one student at a time, Early College Academy connects students to high-skill/high-wage careers through dual enrollment in college
courses. Dual Enrollment is the centerpiece strategy to improve college access and the successful transition of students from secondary to post-secondary
education.
