Counselor, Lynn Ramsey, has a Bachelor of Science in Education from the University of North Dakota and a Master's Degree in Counseling from the University of New Mexico. She is also licensed as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC). She began her career in education in 1991 as an Advanced Placement teacher of Social Studies in Minnesota. After teaching for 7 years, she moved to New Mexico to pursue a degree in Counseling and has worked in the field of counseling since 1998. She has been at the Early College Academy and the Career Enrichment Center since the fall of 2006.
Ms. Brandt has over 30 years experience in all grade levels of education, teaching, and counseling. She has earned licensure as a Level III Professional School Counselor and also as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. She served as the school counselor at the Career Enrichment Center from 1997 to 2006 and is now working part-time as the Testing Coordinator for the Early College Academy as well as the CEC. According to Ms. Brandt, "Counseling is the best job in education - everyday is different. You get to interact with all of the students and staff and can make a difference!"
