Gifted Mentorships

What is a Gifted Mentorship?

Based at your home school, a Gifted Mentorship asks students to spend up to five (5) hours per week at a chosen work site. Typically outside of the school day, students meet with a teacher of the gifted for placement assistance and mentorship support. As Mentorship programs vary from school to school, check with your school's Gifted Mentorship teacher to learn more.

What types of positions are available?

Mentorship positions are available in architecture, trades, veterinary science, police work, politics, medicine, art, writing, engineering, computer science, finance, business, child care, and much more. Visit a sponsoring teacher to review a list of options.

How do you apply?
