The Career Enrichment Center (CEC) is a science, technology, and vocational magnet school in the Albuquerque Public School District. The CEC serves students from all of the high schools in the district as well as students from the home-school community. Students can take classes both at their home high school and at the CEC.

The Early College Academy (ECA) is an alternative APS high school administrated by the CEC. The ECA is a college-preparatory school that facilitates dual enrollment. The ECA schedule is designed to permit students to take their core high-school classes in the morning and to attend CEC or college classes in the afternoon.

The Hefferan Planetarium is located on the CEC campus. The Planetarium serves schools throughout the APS district. Classes of all ages can visit the Planetarium by scheduling a field trip with the Planetarium Director. More than 12,000 students attend shows each year.
